Pixel COB LED Strip
Pixel COB LED Strip combines smooth, continuous COB lighting with external IC control. Each IC controls a group of LED chips as one pixel, so the strip is controlled by sections rather than by individual LED chips. The number of controllable pixels depends on the number of ICs along the strip. With a compatible controller, these sections can create chasing, flowing, gradient and other dynamic effects.
We offer White, Dual White, RGB, RGBW, and RGB+CCT Pixel COB LED Strips for different lighting and control requirements.

Features of Pixel COB LED Strip
Section-by-Section Pixel Effects
An external IC controls each group of LED chips as one pixel. With a compatible controller, the strip can create chasing, flowing and gradient effects. The available effects depend on the color version and controller.
Smooth, Continuous COB Light
Closely spaced COB chips create an even line of light with minimal visible LED dots, including when the strip displays dynamic effects.
Five Color Options
Choose from White, Dual White, RGB, RGBW and RGB+CCT Pixel COB LED Strips. Select the version based on whether your project needs white light effects, adjustable white, full color, or a combination of color and white light.

Application of Pixel COB LED Strip
Pixel COB LED strips combine a smooth line of light with section-by-section control. They are suited to hotel interiors, restaurants, reception areas, commercial spaces, ships and immersive tunnels where designers want flowing, chasing or coordinated lighting effects. Choose the color version and pixel length according to the effect and viewing distance required.

FAQS
A pixel is a controllable section of the strip. In our external IC designs, each IC controls a group of COB LED chips as one pixel. The chips within that group follow the same setting, while different pixels can display different settings to create moving effects.
No. Control is based on the IC-defined pixel, not each individual LED chip. If a model has more ICs per meter, it has more controllable sections per meter and can display finer effects. Ask for the pixel count of the specific model rather than judging it by LED chips per meter.
Start with the viewing distance and the effect you want. Shorter pixels and more pixels per meter allow finer chases and smoother movement; longer pixels may be sufficient for large outlines viewed from farther away. Send us the installation length and a reference video or description of the effect, and we can suggest a suitable pixel length.
Generally, yes. On our Pixel COB LED strips, each cuttable section usually corresponds to one IC-controlled pixel. This means the cut length also indicates the length of each independently controlled section. Check the specification of your selected model for its exact cut length and pixels per meter.
Choose White for moving white-light effects, Dual White when the white tone also needs to change, RGB for colorful effects, and RGBW when you need colorful effects plus a dedicated white channel. Ask about RGB+CCT if your project needs both RGB effects and adjustable white light. Confirm the available model and controller for your chosen version.
A standard RGB COB strip generally displays the same color setting along a controller zone. A Pixel RGB COB strip has separately controllable sections, allowing different sections to show different colors or brightness levels at the same time. Choose Pixel RGB when your design requires chases, flowing colors or gradients.
Use a digital pixel controller compatible with the strip’s external IC and signal requirements. A standard analog RGB or RGBW controller cannot address the individual pixels. Tell us your existing controller model or control platform before ordering so we can check compatibility.
No. The pixel structure enables section-by-section control, but the visible effects depend on the color version and controller. A White model can create moving brightness patterns; an RGB model can also create moving color effects. RGBW and RGB+CCT add their respective white-light capabilities.
Yes, with a controller and wiring plan that support the total number of pixels. Depending on the intended effect, the strips can mirror the same pattern or operate as consecutive parts of a longer animation. Send us the number of strips, their lengths and your desired effect so we can plan the controller outputs.
Choose a power supply that matches the strip voltage and total load. Long runs may also need power injection at additional points to reduce voltage drop and visible brightness or color differences. The data signal and power-feed layout should be planned together; share your drawing before installation.
Yes, lengths can be prepared according to the selected model’s cutting positions. For a project requiring many sections, send us a length list and specify where the controller and power connections should be located. We can then check the cutting, wiring and preparation requirements before quoting.
Please provide the color version, total length, length of each section, target effect, viewing distance, controller or protocol requirement, installation environment and quantity. If you have a drawing or effect video, include it. These details help us recommend the pixel density, IC, power arrangement and matching controller.
