Features of RGB+CCT LED Strips
RGB Colors & Dedicated White
Enjoy colorful lighting effects and dedicated white light in one strip. Use RGB for decorative scenes, switch to white for everyday illumination, or blend white into RGB colors to create softer pastel tones with a compatible controller.
Tunable White from Warm to Cool
Adjust white light from a warm, relaxing glow to a cooler, brighter-looking atmosphere. Dedicated warm-white and cool-white channels let you select intermediate color temperatures within the model’s specified range. Options include 2500K–6500K, depending on the selected LEDs.
Built for Reliable Performance
Quality LEDs, double-layer 2oz copper PCBs and genuine 3M adhesive tape support dependable performance and secure mounting. Strict production quality control and warranty coverage of up to 5 years provide confidence for professional lighting projects.

FAQS
Choose a range that covers the lighting scenes you actually need. 3000K–6000K suits projects requiring warm white through cool white. If a warmer evening atmosphere is important, ask for a lower warm-white endpoint, such as 2700K or 1800K.
For the white channels, CRI 80 can suit general decorative lighting. Choose CRI 90 or above when the appearance of food, furniture, merchandise or interior finishes matters. CRI 95 or 97 options are worth considering for more demanding color-rendering requirements, subject to LED availability.
Specify both the desired CCT range and white-light CRI when requesting a quote.
Here's a breakdown of the differences between RGB CCT, RGBW, and RGB LED strips:
RGB LED Strip:
Composition:
Contains Red, Green, and Blue LEDs.
Functionality:
Can produce a wide range of colors by mixing the three primary colors. However, it lacks a dedicated white light option, which may result in less accurate white light output.
RGBW LED Strip:
Composition:
Includes Red, Green, Blue, and a single type of white LED.
Functionality:
Offers enhanced color mixing capabilities, allowing for vibrant colors along with a dedicated white light. However, the white light is fixed and cannot be adjusted for different color temperatures (warm or cool).
RGB CCT LED Strip:
Composition:
Comprises Red, Green, Blue, warm white, and cool white LEDs.
Functionality:
Provides the ability to produce a full spectrum of colors and adjustable white light. Users can transition between warm and cool whites, making it ideal for applications requiring flexible lighting solutions.
Within the same LED configuration, higher density places the light sources closer together. Choose lower-density models for concealed coves with enough distance for the light to blend. Consider higher-density models for shallow profiles, close viewing distances or reflections on glossy surfaces.
Do not compare total LED counts across different structures without checking the layout. A 5-in-1 package contains all five colors, while a separate-LED design divides the total count among RGB, warm-white and cool-white packages.
Also check PCB width and cutting interval. A denser strip may offer shorter cutting sections but require a wider mounting channel.
5-in-1 LEDs place RGB, warm-white and cool-white chips inside each LED package. Their closely positioned light sources make them a good choice for shallow profiles and installations where the illuminated surface is close to the strip.
Separate RGB and white LEDs offer more flexibility in white LED selection, quantity and power. Consider this configuration when you have specific requirements for white-light brightness or CRI. Sufficient mixing distance or a suitable diffuser helps reduce visible color separation.
If you are unsure which to choose, start with 5-in-1 RGB+CCT strips. They are a practical choice for most general lighting and decorative projects, with closely grouped light sources that simplify color mixing.
Use the strip’s maximum permitted operating power, rather than assuming the stated wattage covers every possible channel combination.
For example, if a 24V strip is rated at a maximum of 20W/m, a 5-meter installation requires:
5m × 20W/m = 100W
Allowing an additional 20% gives a power-supply target of 120W or above at 24V, with further allowance if the installation conditions require derating.
Confirm whether the power rating applies to RGB mode, white mode or simultaneous operation. The controller, cables and connectors must also support the intended load; a larger power supply alone does not increase their capacity.
24V is generally the better starting point for longer installations. At the same watts per meter, it draws half the current of a 12V strip, helping reduce voltage drop in the supply wiring.
Choose 12V when your fixture already has a regulated 12V supply or when an available 12V model offers a cutting interval that better fits short sections.
Check the actual model before deciding: not every design is available in both voltages, and 24V does not mean unlimited single-end run length. Confirm the maximum recommended run and plan additional power feeds where needed.
RGB CCT LED strips can be controlled using remote controls, wall-mounted controllers, or smart home systems. Many strips come with mobile apps that allow you to change colors, brightness, and color temperature easily.
Not necessarily. Output depends on the warm-white and cool-white LEDs, their operating power and how the controller mixes the two channels.
Some controllers reduce one channel as they increase the other. Others allow both channels to operate at higher combined power around intermediate settings, which can make the mixed white brighter than either endpoint.
If consistent brightness is important, request output data at the warm endpoint, an intermediate setting and the cool endpoint. Test the strip with the intended controller, and do not assume one published lumen figure applies across the whole CCT range.
For a standard analog RGB+CCT strip, use a five-channel RGB+CCT controller with separate outputs for red, green, blue, warm white and cool white. A conventional four-channel RGBW controller cannot independently control all five channels.
Check the strip voltage, per-channel current and total controller capacity. Also confirm whether the controller supports simultaneous RGB and white operation if your lighting scenes require it.
Standard analog strips change together along each controlled section. For chasing or independently changing sections, choose an addressable RGB+CCT model with a matching controller.
