WS2812B led strip and SK6812 RGB led strip are generally accepted products in the market, because both are with brand lamp beads, the product quality is stable, and the data transmission effect is relatively good.

In many cases, customers will wonder whether the project is better to choose WS2812B Symphony Lights or SK6812 RGB.

First of all, WS2812B is actually an upgraded version of WS2812, which first appeared in the market. After a short while, SK6812 RGB was introduced to the market. Although the ICs of the two lamp beads are different, they are all SPI signals, so most of the databases are compatible, and the actual test parameters of the two are similar.

However, there is always a view in the market that the quality of SK6812 RGB strips is better than that of WS2812B led strip. This is mainly because the WS2812 series products have two grades: WS2812E and WS2812B. WS2812E is the economic version, WS2812B is the professional version, and 90% of the WS2812 products circulating in the market are WS2812E. In addition, WS2812B is more well-known in the market, and many unknown brand leds are more willing to claim their led as WS2812B lamp beads. As a result, the WS2812B led strips circulating in the market are actually not real WS2812B lamp strips.

The SK6812 RGB lamp beads have only one version, same quality leverl as WS2812B. If you compare the SK6812 RGB light strip with the real WS2812B light strip, the quality and performance of the two are basically the same.

But if you compare the SK6812 led strip with WS2812E led strip or fake WS2812B led strip, the SK6812 pixel ed strip is better in terms of brightness, data transmission rate or stability.
